today was the only day i could actually crawl under blankeys and go back to sleep even though i woke up an hour before so i had a good laid-back saturday =D! lets see if i can recap what has happened:
tuesday- tea time with ms.ong and willie
it was great =D! i didn't get to talk to her much during speech day so it was a good catch up session. sorry willie, if it wasn't your type of conversations =\ hope you didn't mind it! but yeah, we all got to catch up as friends instead of teacher and students =D who knows, 10 years from now she'll be at my wedding giving a tiny speech too!;)!
thursday:
was my first driving lesson! =DDD! finally! after waiting since september, i have finally made it to behind the steering wheel! omg man i stalled the car AT LEAST 10 times! it was horrifying!! i was so nervous i clenched my teeth together again and once i realised that i had to command myself to relax. it was the first time i've used a manual car and it was pretty confusing because 1) i couldn't really understand the teacher 2) i was panicking inside 3) i didn't know what i was doing. note to everyone, when you're about to slow down, change your gear to neutral before braking. you cannot brake before changing gears, otherwise you will end up stalling the car like i did T.T luckily my teacher was very patient and she didn't scold me yet. HAHA! she said i was ok, just that i "goyang-goyang"- not sure if she meant my steering or my smoothness in changing gears and accelerating lol! after that lesson, my dad brought me to meragang industrial area to practice my steering and smoothness so i basically had two lessons lol! was still panicking inside, but after the lessons i was more confident at the end than at the beginning.
friday: my second driving lesson! stalled the car only 3 times!=D! hey, big improvement ok! i was more confident in holding the steering wheel and changing the gears smoothly while remembering (after the stallings) to change the gear to neutral before braking. =D! not to mention, she was also opening up to me, telling me stories of her students and herself, we talked about lightning and people who have been electrocuted before. we bonded ;)! happy much XD! she asked me to go on a different route which had a slightly sharper turn, but besides 1 curve mistake it was pretty smooth! she said i was getting better and it helped in my confidence. can't wait for my driving on monday now =D!hopefully it wouldn't rain that much when i'm driving =\!
night time- went out with marcus and chiewying to eat at icebar-kiulap hotel! haven't seen both of them in a long time so it was a good catch up session with plenty of good-natured insults and laughter. definitely see a happier and more lively nature in both of them so i was happy how the conversations never ceased. definitely would do catchups like this more often in the future=D!
HAHAHA! don't you just wanna slap them silly till they laugh?=P!
as for tomorrow, we'll see what the future holds ok?;) tune in soon for another update! in the mean time..
*DROOOLSSSS!* you guys HAVE to try these at fleur de lyss! try the vanilla one, its the BEST! i dont care what others day, the vanilla one is the best melt-in-your-mouth one ever! *drools like crazy*
